Flat bed and rotary hot foiling
What is the advantage, what the contradiction?
Rotative hot and cold foil stamping are well established in the industry for self-adhesive labels. However, there are exceptions with special requirements. Open structured surfaces are difficult to stamp by rotative means. Cold foil adhesive is absorbed by the material; hot foil stamping is considerably slowed down on rough materials. A deficit, which can easily be overcome with flat bed hotfoiling.
